Evelyn Tilney looks at real estate, architecture, and design from all facets- financial, creative, and logistical. She works with a carefully curated and limited roster of ethical clients- including real estate buyers and sellers- to navigate the highly competitive residential real estate markets of Cambridge and Somerville, MA, and beyond. She focuses on serving her clients with integrity, honesty, excellent data analysis, architectural and design knowledge, and precise execution, all deeply rooted in her experience as a strategist and producer for architecture and design-focused projects and installations.
In addition to brokering sales, her work encompasses building networks and making connections, and serving as a consultant and concierge, whether clients need buyer or seller representation in another city, state, or country; are searching for the right real estate attorney; want to be introduced to a lender that understands complex international asset holdings; or needs the help of a design professional to reimagine a space.
She aims to travel from point A to point B in the most creative, engaging and successful way possible. By looking at each thought problem as a separate set of parameters with interesting and multifaceted solutions, she deeply explores with her colleagues and clients the terrain of the task at hand, and the specific needs and desires of each unique situation. With this in mind, she emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and rigorous research at every turn, aiming to produce superior results.
Evelyn holds a BA in Architectural Studies from Brown University and a MA in Architecture and Urban Culture from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra/Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona. Her professional and academic work has been deeply informed by the history and growth of several key cities, including: New York, New York; Barcelona, Spain; Providence, Rhode Island; and now Cambridge + Somerville, Massachusetts.
In the past, Evelyn has worked as a project manager + producer for many architecture and design-related projects, including NYFW runway shows, museum and fashion installations, museum conferences, and outdoor street art installations. She has collaborated on many successful projects with brands and companies ranging from Louis Vuitton to ALDO, and notable organizations including the Museum of Arts and Design, MoMA PS1, the New Museum, the Lowline, IDEAS CITY 2013, Design/Build Miami, and Times Square Alliance.
Her extended professional and creative team includes architects, tradespeople, stagers, tech smarties, business and real estate developers, ops gurus, designers, photographers, creative directors, videographers, and hair and makeup artists.
She is owner of EBTILNEY, Inc., as well as her eponymous real estate firm. She has previously been affiliated with a number of outstanding real estate firms, including Gibson Sotheby's International Realty and Hammond Residential.
